Here is the screenshot from your website
The balance is not reflecting payment of extra principal. Can you fix?

How can I best give you what you want from my end. I've been watching your videos and I know you know your stuff. Really need this to work and you've done a GREAT job with your database. I need to submit the reports and they have to be correct or well you know... I've been tracking lots of amortization in excel and it's a pain to maintain. I have excel formulas but I'm learning access.

Right... which screenshot has the error in it, specifically? There's a bunch of them.

Find one that shows running balance on the right and an extra principle payment. Then take balance minus principal minus extra principal and it should equal the total on the next line

The next payment after payment on extra principal should also calculate interest based on the reduced principal. Not the original amortization. If you will please verify that?

I'll recheck the calculations as soon as I have a few free minutes.

My computer won't let me paste in this box. I am sorry about that. I could email a screenshot if you like. Thank you VERY much. I know your time is valuable.

There's a link at the top of the thread that explains how to upload an image. Kevin gave you the link above.

My apologies. I need a hot minute. Next week is leadership meeting and I have to prepare. Head down. Thank you everyone for your help. I really do love your database.
