Tracking Equipment

Richard, Scott, et al,
I'm trying to create a equipment tracking system, similar to the order tracking system Richard creates in AccessExpert8 and AccessExpert22. But instead of sorting by order, as in Richard's aforementioned courses, I want to create a data entry form where I can sort by employee--the employee who has the equipment.  This obviously would be a one-to-many relationship, where each employee will have several types of unique equipment.
I have created an ITEquipmentF, where each person has several lines of equipment, with subform  ITEquipmentDetailF inside. But I'm having trouble getting a ComboBox sorting equipment by employee. I want to be able to select an employee and show all their equipment in my form, and possibly add new or archive old equipment turned back in.
How can I do this?
Thoughts?

Make the combo box based on your EmployeeT bring in the EmployeeID and EmployeeName then make an AfterUpdate event to change the filter on the screen. Or change the record source, or use a subform and link it to the combo box. Few ways you could accomplish this really.

The filter option for the form I think is covered in Filter Records

Something like
Me.Filter= "EmployeeID=" & ComboBoxName
Me.FilterOn = True

I was trying to link ITEquipmentDetailF as a subform in ITEquipmentF.  How do you link the subform to a ComboBox?  I must have missed that somewhere too.

Kent take a look at the Manage Rental Inventory videos as well.
A little bit of a stretch possibly but possibly some valuable techniques there.

Also Developer 23 for down the road.
