Is there a way (I know there has to be :-) ) to set a field [in my case a Y/N to Y] using VBA but maybe not AfterUpdate and IF/Then?  Here's my situation,

I have an "Email Confirmation" button which runs some code that sends a training confirmation email to the appropriate person with details about the upcoming training. (Date, Location, Time, etc., all fields in the table)

I would like to have the EmailSent (Yes/No) field update to Yes when that email is sent.  I assume I just need to add a line or two to the end of the code, but I don't know what the lines are :-D  

this is what I would like to happen:
--User adds training details to form
--User clicks "Email Confirmation" button, which brings up the populated email
--User confirms and sends email
--EmailSent field updates to Yes.
