Default Based on Other Field

I have a table with a list of locations. What I'd like to do when I'm adding a new location is that when I enter the district number, have the zone and region numbers populate automatically. I created a separate table with a list of districts and the corresponding data. Can I query a default value from another table, or is there a better way of doing this?

Check out the video that just came out today. Dynamic Default Also the Value From a Form Pretty easy to fill in the other fields. Though you may need to use a DLookup as well to figure out the value.

Today's video is what gave me the idea to do this in the first place. So far I've got two text boxes with DLookups and they work great. When I try and make the actual Region/Zone fields default to those DLookup text boxes nothing happens.

Where did you put the DLookup and which default value? Just to make sure you are picking / typing in the district then you want to look up the Zone and Region. Correct?

The 17/03 on the far right are my DLookups. Zone and REG are where I have my default values as ="" & [ZoneDefault] & "" and ="" & [RegDefault] & "" respectively.
