04 Inserting Pictures
Stamatios Papoutsis

Hi Richard and rest of the team!

The new method for inserting the path of the photo is live saving form me since that I deal with Shipbuilding and We have to present thousands of photos during our everyday inspections.
The thing is that I have previous Access databases with the previous method which means that the have thousands of pictures as attachments!!!
IS there a way to get them from the database and save them to a folder?

Best regards,

Stamatis From Greece

Dear Alex, thank you for the Link! Unfortunately I am enrolled to attend ALL courses from Beginner to Developer and I have already completed Beginner and Expert series; currently started the advanced series.  Is there a way to have access to Code Vault: Lesson 28: Extract Attachment?
Thanks!

I think TechHelp Gold gives access to the Code Vault.

Stamatios

EDIT:
Caution - Before you delete anything BACK UP YOUR DATABASE.
Backup Access

You will need to store all of the images inserted improperly before you do this or they will just be gone.

Check out the Purge Image Gallery video.

Regarding the Code Vault this is yet another great reason to also join the TechHelp Memberships.  As a Silver member you can watch the extended cuts - You would just have to pause the video and type in the code manually.   However,  if you have the Gold membership that would also give you access to the Code Vault.

Dear Alex and Scott,
Thank you both for your kind suggestions!
I have planned to attend ALL the courses of Richard which are Beginner, Expert, Advance and Developer. Such plan includes a substantial amount of money, so I can not afford to get the TechHelp Memberships. I will search you tube to find a way to extract my pictures using VBA.

Best regards,
