AgeatDeath Calculation
Rodney Maedke

I know how to calculate most date fields; but this is one I have trouble figuring out.  Can you help me out Rick?
My Example: BirthDate 1950/03/01   DeathDate  2023/05/15
In my PersonF  Field AgeatDeath to display as
73 Years, 2 Months,15 Days (Ha Ha I'm not dead yet)
Provided my brain calculation is correct maybe it is 14, Days
I also want to use this in other fields on the form,
such as MemberDate - Date()
Possably as globalmod.
Thank You Rick

15 days is correct.  Your date of birth was Day 1 of your life, not Day zero.  If you were born on 1950/03/01, then 1950/03/15 was the 15th day of your life, not 14th, and so on.

Thanks.  What I also need is what the formula would look like.  I was trying to submit as a tech help for Rick to do avideo on.
Could you direct me to the correct place to do this, or iare they done through an email to Rick?

Rodney -
Richard has already released a video on how to Calculate Age.
Since you are a Gold Member you can also head up to the Calculate Exact Age in the Code Vault to download the code.

Total Time Spent shows how to display hours and minutes. You should be able to make modifications to display years, months and days.
