Hover Push Button Effects

Is it possible to add the hover and push button effects to fields on a continuous form?

The screenshot below shows the Description field which I have made look like buttons but since it is a continuous form if I put any of the mouse events in the field it affects ALL of them.

Have you rejected a "button effect" On Click?

How about creating a transparent command button on top of your field.  Set to "Bring to Front" and hover to pointing finger.  Code button as necessary.  I tried this on one of my forms and it might be what I think you're lookin for.

But if the button is transparent how will I see any effects?

The problem I was experiencing was the cursor would appear when I clicked on the "button". Now instead of the click event I am using the Got Focus event and reopening the menu form as a hidden form. Then when the other form closes I reshow the menu. Not the effect I was originally looking for but it actually works really well.

Obviously, I had to take the field out of the Tab Order for this to work properly.

Ah.  I see.  I thought you were  just wanting to alert the user where his mouse was - thus the pointing finger.  Seems like there should be less of a "Rube Goldberg" solution for this but glad you found a workaround.
