I am running Windows 365 version. If I choose a table, query, etc. from the navigation pane and try to rename the file, it turns to a blue background momentarily, but will not allow me to rename. I have to copy the file, then paste it to the new name and delete the original. Is there a setting somewhere, or is this a feature of my version of Access?

What do you mean momentarily and then will not allow you to rename? Does it just flash and then go back on its own? Does it stay there and you just can't type anything in? When I first read through this first thing that came to mind was you have a key stuck on your keyboard, probably ctrl or alt. That isn't a feature unique to your access.

No stuck keys or anything like that. I right click the file name and it gets a blue background for about a second, then changes back to no background before I can edit the file name. If I am really quick, I can click into the file name while it is still blue, but I still can't edit the name.
