The value itself is a numeric 32-bit long int, but you can display it as either hex or dec.

This is why I say in the video I don't recommend changing things directly in the registry. Change the setting IN ACCESS and then read/write from your database.

Got it Rick but the value is already as HEX I did not change the 'Base" it is already as HEX in my registry, so when I tried to get the value I got the error, not that I changed it in the registry [Sorry for the confusion.]
I know I can change the registry o Decimal in the base, but I don't want to mess around like you said.
But is working fine, I thought maybe someone else may come out with the same issue as I did and it will be nice if they knew what was going on.
BTW I made a few tweaks to your colors and Included YELLOW in the IDENTIFIER text and TO ME!!! is perfect, love the colors.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Just allow Access to make the registry changes.
