I'm struggling to make the data entry form open to the specific HelperID . The combo box opens and shows exactly what I want, but when I click the "edit" box it shows all the data in the helper table. I have limited the "on double click" event to the specific ID, but still see everything. Help, please and thank you!

HelperID=2 will always open up #2. It should be "HelperID=" & HelperID

thanks for responding... on this form, I want it to always be 2 = it is referencing the payment type used

Adam, she's using the helper tables, and she wants to specifically open just the payment types. So that's how I teach it in the video: you hard code the ID in your VBA. Barbara, what you have there should work just fine based on what you have in your tables. I can't see what the problem is from just what you've shown me.
