Error During Paste

When I use the 'load text' button I get an error and debug takes me to this:

    Status "Pasting Text..."
    DocText.SetFocus
    DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdPaste --THIS LINE IS HIGHLIGHTED
    DocName.SetFocus
    If IsNull(DocName) Then DocName = Left(DocText, 50)

I copied the code from the downloaded file so I'm not sure what the issue is. Any help would be appreciated.

I plugged the code into ChatGPT and asked why I received an error and it suggested a pause before the paste command and offered this code:

' Add a delay to ensure the clipboard is ready
Application.Wait (Now + TimeValue("0:00:01"))

When I debug it shows a error since 'Application.Wait' does not exist.

I use ClipMate and I think that must be the issue. The text is not making it to ClipMate and can't be pasted.

Any suggestions for making this work with ClipMate?

I found the problem. I never changed the DocText field to long text. Rookie mistake.
