This is where you would make a relationship, either a one to many or a many to many relationship. You will learn about those later on, it allows you to assign multiple values to something like favorite colors, and store "blue", "red", "white" for John Smith, and "blue", "green", "orange" for Jane Doe.

OK gentlemen, & thank you.  I'll certainly stay the course with my progression through the lessons in order, but these links give me some tantalizing previews of what's coming.  I've experimented with List Boxes already and see some of the issues.  One thing I would eventually like to do with these entries is search by multiple factors:  for example, "show me everyone who is both Orange and blue",  or "everyone who is a neighbor but not a customer",  etc.

Peter, 2 years ago I was in your shoes. Richard's classes and Tech Help got me to where I am today, + many hours of coding every day. lol

A multivalue field lets you use a combo box to select multiple items with checkboxes (see picture).  But multivalue fields are one of Richard's Evil Access Stuff because of their many troublesome mechanics.  I've used Access for 20+ years and I only use multivalue fields if I must.
