i set up the DiscountRate field as a percent. while trying to edit "50" in the sell it doesn't work. it terned to 0%. if edit "100" it changed to 100%. so it works with tree diget numbers and not with two.

Change the Field Size to Double.
100% is 1
50% is 0.5
Your field must be able to handle floating point numbers.
